This is a nice medieval silver signet ring, dating to the 15th century A.D. It is a robust example, designed for active wear. This example is engraved with a stylize fleur-de-lys, the border decorated with a rocker-arm design. This ring would have been used to seal and authenticate letters and documents, as a private signature of its original owner. Today the ring has survived intact and in excellent condition, its has a nice nice dark tone from its time in the ground. This ring is suitable to be worn and used again today.
